Cotton Electric Cooperative currently provides electric service to nearly 22,000 meters in eight counties of Southwest Oklahoma. Cotton Electric was organized in 1938 to provide electric services to rural areas at a time when other utilities did not consider it economically feasible. Over the course of 75+ years, the cooperative has steadily grown while continuing to meet the changing needs of its member/consumers
